Providing feedback
Online project submissions
Schools are able to take photos of their completed projects and write a report on what they have done to complete the outcomes set out in the project. The EngQuest team arranges for a volunteer to read the report, look at the photos and provide some feedback on the work. We ask volunteers to provide general feedback and assess what the students have done, remembering to be encouraging at the same time.
Online submission reports will be emailed to you once they arrive from the schools. The submissions usually take the form of a Word document comprising photographs, a brief description of what they have done and a list of materials they have used.
We ask volunteers to write a couple of paragraphs providing feedback to the students (around half, to one page feedback is ample).
Upon receiving the submission from the EngQuest team, please indicate whether you feel you are able to provide feedback on the work? If you are too busy that's fine, simply let us know and we will forward the submission onto another volunteer.
We ask the volunteers take no more than 7 to 10 days when providing feedback to schools.
