Welcome to EngQuest

Construct a lifting machine project
EngQuest, an initiative of Engineers Australia, provides an exciting way for students to participate in free, fun, educational engineering activities involving mathematics, science and technology. EngQuest is non-competitive, with every student recognised for their participation and hard work with a certificate and a gift.
Curriculum-appropriate classroom engineering projects are provided on this website, along with easy-to-use instructions, background information, lesson and activity ideas and student activity sheets for lower primary, primary and middle years students for each project.
There is also plenty of interactive educational fun that your students are certain to enjoy!
You can read more about EngQuest and the projects in the About EngQuest section.
Before you register, you may like to view a sample of the EngQuest education resource material. The Simple Machines and Water Wheels EngQuest resource material is posted on the 'FOR TEACHERS for students' (FTfs) website.
For a limited time you are invited to request an EngQuest education pack including a brochure, poster and CD (available to the first 500 teachers).
